الملخص
هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد الاحتياجات النفسية (للكفاءة، والاستقلالية، والانتماء) لدى أطفال رياض الأطفال في الكويت. تم اختيار عينة من 117 طفلاً من رياض الأطفال (57 من ذوي الإعاقات التعليمية التطورية، و60 من الأطفال الطبيعيين). استخدمت أداتان: أداة الكشف المبكر ومقياس الاحتياجات النفسية. أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق معنوية (قيمة p < 0.01) بين الأطفال ذوي الإعاقات التعليمية التطورية والأطفال الطبيعيين في جميع الاحتياجات. كما كانت هناك فروق معنوية (p < 0.05) بين الذكور والإناث في احتياحي الكفاءة والاستقلالية. لم تكن هناك فروق معنوية بين الذكور والإناث في احتياج الانتماء. كما كان هناك تأثير تفاعل معنوي بين الجنس والمجموعة في احتياج الاستقلالية، مما يشير إلى أن الفروق الناتجة عن الجنس ليست ثابتة.
