الملخص: تميل الرغبة في التفكير النقدي إلى أن تكون دافعاً للفرد لاستخدام التفكير النقدي عندما يواجه مشكلة تتطلب حلاً، واتخاذ قرار، أو تقييم فكرة. استخدمت هذه الدراسة تحليل نموذج راش للتقدير (RSM) لفحص مجموعة من الخصائص السيكومترية لإصدار عربي من مقياس النزعة للتفكير النقدي (EMI): ملاءمة البنود، أحادية البعد، الاستقلالية المحلية، التمييز بين البنود المتساوي، الأداء التفاضلي للبند بحسب الجنس، الاعتمادية ومؤشرات الانفصال ومعايرة المقياس. أشارت النتائج إلى أن EMI أظهر توافقاً جيداً مع RSM حيث تطابقت جميع البنود مع النموذج باستثناء البند 11. إضافة إلى ذلك، تحققت افتراضات نموذج راش التي كانت أحادية البعد، والاستقلالية المحلية، وتساوي تمييز البنود. كان للمقياس موثوقية ممتازة للأشخاص وموثوقية جيدة للبنود. أظهر المقياس مؤشرات انفصال جيدة للبنود ومؤشرات انفصال ممتازة للأشخاص. لم تُظهر البنود فروقاً في الأداء بحسب الجنس. كانت المسافات بين فئات الاستجابة مناسبة، وأظهرت قياسات الفئة زيادة متسقة.
