الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى فحص الخصائص السيكومتريّة لـ Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal -Short Form (WGCTA-S) كأداة تقيس التفكير النقدي. تتألف من 40 بنداً تقيس خمس مهارات: الاستدلال، التعرف على الافتراضات، الاستنتاج، التفسير وتطور الحجة ضمن 16 سيناريو مختلف. أُجري الاختبار على عينة عشوائية مكوّنة من 400 طالب من كلية التربية. أظهرت النتائج أن WGCTA-S اختبار صالح وموثوق. كشفت تحليل العوامل عن خمسة عوامل تتطابق مع العوامل الموجودة في الأداة الأصلية. تراوحت معاملات الارتباط بين الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية للاختبار بين 0.301 و0.801، مما يدل على صدقية البناء، وكانت الثقة بإعادة الاختبار 0.78 وألفا 0.80. أظهرت النتائج فروقاً بين طلاب الأقسام النظرية والعلمية لصالح الطلاب في الأقسام العلمية. كما وجدت الدراسة فروقاً بين الطلاب ذوي التحصيل الأكاديمي العالي والمنخفض لصالح التحصيل العالي.
