الملخص
الملخص: هدفت الدراسة إلى فحص جاهزية مؤسسات التعليم العالي للمهارات والوظائف المستقبلية وفق رؤية 2040. وعلاوة على ذلك، تم تحديد التحديات المرتبطة بهذه المهارات والوظائف مما أدى إلى تقديم عدد من الاقتراحات لمعالجة تلك الصعوبات. استخدمت الدراسة منهجاً نوعياً حيث أُجريت مقابلات لجمع البيانات. شملت عينة الدراسة تسعة قادة في التعليم العالي وخمسة خبراء. وفق النتائج، كانت درجة الجاهزية متوسطة. كما أظهرت النتائج عدداً من التحديات في أساليب التدريس والتعلم والبيئة التعليمية والموارد البشرية. اختتمت الدراسة ببعض الاقتراحات المتعلقة بالطلاب، والمدرسين، والمناهج، والتعاون الصناعي والاتصال الدولي.
