الملخص
هذه الدراسة استكشفت التخصص الأكاديمي كمصدر لتمييز العناصر DIF في تقييم الطلاب لجودة التدريس وفعاليته في مؤسسات التعليم العالي. البيانات المستخدمة في هذه الدراسة جُمعت بواسطة جامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل - المملكة العربية السعودية. العدد الإجمالي للاستبانات التي تم تحليلها في الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو 36,459 من ثلاث كليات: التعليم، والصحة، والهندسة. باستخدام نموذج راستش الممتد (نموذج مقياس التقييم)، تشير النتائج إلى أن الأداة تحتوي على أربع بنود DIF. محتوى هذه البنود الأربعة يؤكد إمكانية اعتبار التخصص كمصدر لبنود DIF في تقييم الطلاب للتدريس في التعليم العالي. علاوة على ذلك، تُظهر نتائج الدراسة الحالية أن إزالة بنود DIF من الأداة تُحسن الصدق البنائي.
