الملخص
استكشفت الدراسة كيف يفهم مرشحو برنامج التربية في جامعة نيو مكسيكو (NMSU) نموذج التقييم، وعملية التقييم، ومعنى تقييم الميول المهنية وفق معايير NCATE، وذلك فيما يتعلق بتطورهم في الميول/المهارات المهنية. استخدمت الدراسة منهجاً نوعياً. استخدمنا طريقة مجموعات النقاش مع أربع مجموعات: ابتدائية (N=3)، ثانوية (N=10)، الطفولة المبكرة (N=6)، وتخصصات التربية الخاصة (N=4). سُئل مرشحو التربية عن فهمهم للميول وعملية تقييم الميول في بداية البرنامج ونهايته. بناءً على التحليل، تبين أن التقييم الذاتي للميول في هذه المؤسسة مُؤسس بمبادئ مفاهيمية راسخة، وأن مرشحي التربية وجدوا أن العملية ذات معنى بالنسبة لهم، لكن وجهات نظرهم تشير إلى وجود خلل في التنفيذ. ونختتم بتوصيات لكلا البرنامج التربوي الذي درسته الجهات المعنية باعتماد برامج التربية.
