الملخص
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى فحص أثر استخدام الوسائط المتعددة في تحصيل العلوم وتطوير مهارات التفكير الميتاكوجنيتي لدى طلاب الصف التاسع في سلطنة عمان. تكونت العينة من 62 طالباً وقُسِّمت إلى مجموعتين: تجريبيّة وضابطة. ضمت المجموعة التجريبيّة 31 طالباً وتعلمت باستخدام الوسائط المتعددة، بينما ضمت المجموعة الضابطة 31 طالباً وتعلمت بالطريقة التقليديّة. للإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة، تم تطوير اختبار تحصيل واختبار مهارات التفكير الميتاكوجنيتي وتطبيقهما على أفراد الدراسة. أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية (p < 0.05) في كلا الاختبارين: التحصيل ومهارات التفكير الميتاكوجنيتي، وكان الفرق لصالح المجموعة التجريبيّة. وبناءً على ذلك، أوصت الدراسة بإجراء مزيد من الدراسات لمعرفة أثر الوسائط المتعددة على مختلف مهارات التفكير.
