الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى مقارنة تصورات الأزواج العمانيين حول التوافق الزوجي والتحقيق في تأثير العمر وفترة الزواج وإنجاب الأطفال على درجات التوافق لديهم. شملت عينة عشوائية مكونة من 162 فرداً (81 زوجاً و81 زوجة). صمم الباحث مقياساً لقياس التوافق الزواجي لدى الأزواج العمانيين واختباره على العينة ثم طبق عليه. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود تأثير لفترة الزواج أو لإنجاب الأطفال على التوافق الزواجي بين الأزواج والزوجات. كما لوحظ وجود فروقات ذات دلالة إحصائية في التوافق الزواجي وفقاً للعمر، لصالح من كان عمره 41 عاماً فما فوق. وتم اعتماد استنتاجات الدراسة بناءً على النتائج.
