Abstract
This letter to the editor discusses critical points in the management of toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), emphasizing the importance of timely diagnosis, confirmation through biopsy, and adherence to current treatment guidelines. It highlights the necessity of using the SCORTEN score for assessing severity and mortality risk, and advocates for the use of cyclosporine as a first-line treatment based on recent evidence.
