Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI), defined as the simulation of human intelligence processes by computer systems, has invaded many industries, including medicine. AI holds significant promise in healthcare, with the potential to enhance diagnostics, treatment, and patient care. However, like any groundbreaking technology, it also presents substantial drawbacks and challenges. AI-powered medical technologies are rapidly advancing and becoming integral to clinical practice. The development of AI in medicine aims to assist physicians in tasks involving knowledge manipulation and data analysis to support therapeutic decisions, diagnosis formulation, and outcome prediction. AI’s integration into medicine is poised to have a profound impact on every aspect of primary care.
