الملخص
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى استقصاء مدى انتشار التسويف الأكاديمي بين الطلاب في كلية التربية بجامعة حائل، وتطبيقها على عينة مكونة من 360 طالبة في الفصل الدراسي الثاني من السنة الأكاديمية 2014/2015 اختيرت عشوائياً. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم وضع مقياس للتسويف الأكاديمي. استخدم الباحث المتوسط الحسابي والانحراف المعياري لاستنتاج النتائج. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود مستوى متوسط من التسويف بين الطالبات. وُجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بسبب مكان الإقامة في مدينة حائل، بينما لم تكن هناك فروق ذات دلالة بسبب متغير الحالة الاجتماعية (الزوجية). أوصى الباحث بأن تولي المؤسسات التعليمية المعنية تطوير خطط وبرامج لازمة للحد من ظاهرة التسويف الأكاديمي وزيادة دافعية طلاب الجامعة.
