Abstract
This letter discusses the prevalence of depression among Oman Medical Specialty Board residents, highlighting methodological limitations in a previous study that reported a prevalence of 28.8%. It critiques the cut-off score used for diagnosing depression and suggests that other factors associated with depressive symptoms were not adequately considered.
