الملخص
تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى فهم واقع بحث المعلم في سلطنة عمان، وكيفية الاستفادة من هذا البحث في تحسين تطوير المعلم وعمليّة التدريس والتعلم، ومن هو الشخص الذي ينبغي أن يقوم بذلك، بالإضافة إلى إغناء الأدبيات الحالية بتحديثات حول بحث المعلم، وهو موضوع لم يحظَ حتى الآن بالاهتمام الكافي في عمان. اعتمدت الدراسة منهجاً نوعياً لجمع البيانات وتحليل 50 بحثاً قام به معلمون مدارس و22 مقابلة مع معلمين باحثين، ومديري مدارس ومختصين تربويين. كشفت النتائج أن المعلمين مهتمون بإجراء البحوث. يستفيد المعلمون وإدارات المدارس والمشرفون من بحث المعلم. يستخدم المعلمون طرائقهم الخاصة لاستثمار نتائج بحوثهم ومشاركتها مع معلمين آخرين ومساعدتهم على تقدير نتائجها وتوصياتها. وتوصي الدراسة بأن تُؤسَّس ثقافة بحث المعلم في المدارس، وأن يُدعَم المعلمون لإجراء بحوث، وأن يُجرى المزيد من البحث لاستقصاء مدى تطابق بحث المعلم مع معايير البحث التربوي حتى يكون موثوقاً وقابلاً للاستخدام في تحسين المدارس.
