الملخص
القرن العلوي من غضروف الغدة الدرقية هو هيكل متعدد الاستخدامات، ويمكن أن تؤدي الاختلافات التشريحية إلى تقديمات سريرية متنوعة. نصف حالة لمريض يعاني من الجزء العلوي الوسيط من غضروف الغدة الدرقية الناتج عن الضغط من كتلة درقية كبيرة، تم اكتشافها أثناء تنظير الحنجرة قبل استئصال الغدة الدرقية. أظهر تصوير مقطعي محوري للرقبة قرن علوي ممدود ومزاح نحو الوسط من غضروف الغدة الدرقية اليمنى، نتيجة الضغط الذي تمارسه الكتلة الدرقية اليمنى. نظرًا لأن المريض ظل بدون أعراض ورفض التدخل الجراحي، لم يتم النظر في معالجة القرن العلوي الوسيط جراحيًا.
