The Availability of Organizational Health Dimensions in Basic Education Schools in Al Batinah North Governorate during Distance Learning from Teachers’ Point of View

This study aimed to identify the availability of the dimensions of organizational health in basic education schools in the perceptive of online teaching in Al Batinah North Governorate in Sultanate of Oman from the teachers’ point of view. The descriptive method was adopted in this study. A random sample consisted of 530 teachers from basic education schools in sultanate of Oman in 2020/2021 was selected. And the researcher used a survey that included four dimensions, which are school cohesion dimension, initiative dimension, support resource dimension, and morality dimension. The result of the study showed that the level of availability of the dimensions of organizational health in primary schools in Al Batinah North Governorate in the perspective of studying online from teachers’ point of view is average. The results of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the estimates of the sample members in the initiative work, and morality dimensions due to the gender variable in favor of males, and there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the estimates of the sample members in all dimensions of organizational health due to the variable years of experience in favor of the group 11 years and above. According to the results, the study recommended to develop the school principals’ awarness of the importance of having the dimensions of organizational health in their schools, and encourage them to activate and enable them within their weekly and semester plans, and to implement professional development programs on the use and activation of modern technologies within online studying

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد مدى توفر أبعاد الصحة التنظيمية في مدارس التعليم الأساسي من وجهة نظر المعلمين في محافظة شمال الباطنة في سلطنة عمان من منظور المعلمين. اعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي. جرى اختيار عينة عشوائية تضم 530 معلمًا من مدارس التعليم الأساسي في سلطنة عمان في عام 2020/2021. استخدم الباحث استبانة شملت أربعة أبعاد هي: بُعد التماسك المدرسي، وبُعد المبادرة، وبُعد الموارد الداعمة، وبُعد الأخلاق. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى توفر أبعاد الصحة التنظيمية في مدارس التعليم الأساسي بمحافظة شمال الباطنة من منظور المعلمين في التعليم عن بعد هو متوسط. كما كشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) بين تقديرات أعضاء العينة في بُعد المبادرة وبُعد الأخلاق بسبب المتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين تقديرات أعضاء العينة في جميع أبعاد الصحة التنظيمية بسبب متغير سنوات الخبرة لصالح مجموعة 11 عامًا فأكثر. وبناءً على النتائج أوصت الدراسة بتطوير وعي قادة المدارس بأهمية وجود أبعاد الصحة التنظيمية في مدارسهم، وتشجيعهم على تفعيلها ضمن خططهم الأسبوعية والفصلية، وتنفيذ برامج التطوير المهني حول استخدام وتفعيل التقنيات الحديثة في التدريس عبر الإنترنت.
