"abstract": "The study aimed to identify the role of social media in cultural change in Saudi society from the point of view of women. In light of the nature of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study tool was the questionnaire, and the sample size reached (709) of women in Saudi society. The study found several results, the most important of which were: (45.7%) of the study sample believe that TikTok is the most influential social media on cultural changes, while there are (26.7%) who believe that Snapchat is the most influential, and that there is agreement among the study members on the cultural changes of Saudi women in Saudi society, and this is represented in the approval of the study members on both that social media helped break the traditional barriers for women to express themselves and participate in public opinion, as well as that social media contributed to raising the level of women's awareness regarding societal issues. In addition to that, social media contributed to changing the culture of entertainment. The study recommended the necessity of subjecting media content on social media networks to monitoring and continuous awareness efforts for women through programs and seminars presented on social media platforms."
