"abstract": "We report a case of a 52-year-old hypertensive woman with Takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TCM) who presented with chest pain and ST-segment elevation. Echocardiography revealed a giant left ventricular thrombus. Anticoagulation therapy led to partial resolution of the thrombus and recovery of cognitive function. TCM can lead to thrombus formation, and anticoagulation should be considered in management."
