"abstract": "Macular coloboma is an excavation at the macula with defective or rudimentary retinal tissue. Here, we present an unusual case of large bilateral macular coloboma with dragging of optic disc. A 48-year-old diabetic male patient presented to our outpatient department with a history of diminution of vision and squint since childhood. Dilated fundus examination revealed bilateral large well-defined excavation at the macula with optic disc displaced temporally and temporal arcade vessels appeared straightened. Rest of the retina was normal. Optical coherence tomography and B-scan ultrasonography findings were consistent with macular coloboma. Association of optic disc dragging and straightened temporal retinal vessels with macular coloboma is a rare entity and aids in exclusion of other differentials."
